"NOTHING WITHOUT LABOR" - SINCE 1907

Paulina Ramos

Paulina attended Boys Republic Monrovia Day Treatment from October 2009 to January 2011. She came in with a lot of anger and struggled with how to deal with her feelings. She was lost and at times felt lonely and turned to drugs. With the support of the group Paulina learned how to be responsible for her own behavior and learn from her own mistakes. She allowed her mind to be open to accepting the help from others and, at the same time, grew increasingly helpful to others in similar situations.

Paulina graduated with her High School Diploma and Program Honor Graduate. She earned a scholarship from BR that paid for her classes for the Cosmetology Program at Citrus College where she graduated in 2013. Paulina is extremely happy and currently using her license to operate her own hair salon.
